According to Mr. Nopporn Keerati-Bhanhar, Deputy Chief Marketing Officer of the Construction Products and Materials Company, the current construction technology is changing due to global construction trends that are adapting to meet the demands of the industry, lifestyle, and how to mitigate various impacts, including labor issues, costs, time, and importantly, reducing environmental impact. 3D Printing is another technology that will address construction and lifestyle needs in Thailand, covering areas such as Residential, Commercial, and many other works, including furniture or even artificial corals. The launch of CPAC 3D MODULAR SPACE will be another approach to meet the construction needs of buildings in a Free Form style, enhancing design and construction capabilities with a Green Construction approach that reduces waste materials, minimizes pollution, and allows for quick on-site work, enabling businesses to open rapidly within a controlled budget.

CPAC 3D MODULAR SPACE is a two-story building with a usable area of 58 square meters, created under the concept of “fully equipped” using the CPAC 3D Printing Solution in conjunction with the Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) technology for the first time in Thailand. The building's design is inspired by the hexagonal shape of the SCG logo, which is rooted in cement, further developed by utilizing the CPAC 3D Printing Solution to respond to the design and shape the building's walls to have a flowing, wavy appearance, reflecting the organizational changes of SCG that has adapted by incorporating new technologies and innovations to create and elevate the Thai materials and construction industry, representing a design that harmoniously blends science and art.

In addition to its unique aesthetic appeal, the walls of CPAC 3D MODULAR SPACE are also two-layered, featuring air gaps that provide thermal insulation. Experiments have shown that the temperature difference between the inside and outside can be as much as 5-10 degrees Celsius. Additionally, it effectively absorbs external noise. With the advancement of both technologies, it can also help reduce construction time, with a production time of 33 days and installation taking only 1 day, totaling 34 days, which is nearly 2 times faster than conventional brick and plaster construction, which takes up to 90 days, resulting in reduced labor needs. Moreover, with the off-site production method (producing building components in the factory and assembling them on-site), it significantly helps to reduce pollution, noise, and construction waste, achieving a waste reduction of up to 95%.
